Easter Bunny


The Easter Bunny is a fantasy character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. Originating among German Lutherans, the Easter Hare originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour at the start of the season Eastertide.

Wandering through the streets of Porto

During 2013 I visited Oporto in Portugal twice to attend educational conferences. After delivering my academic papers I spent idle time wandering through the old town, Ribeira district, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admiring the beautiful blue and white tiles that cover many of the buildings, and the typography of local shop signs.
